Handling and Storing Human Breast Milk

Friendly Reminders:
1. Make sure you wash your hands before handling breastmilk.
2. Label milk with the date, use older milk first.
3. If there is milk left in a bottle after a feeding, no not safe used milk for a later feeding.
4. Clean pump equipment after every use.
5. Don’t thaw milk by using a microwave.
6. One milk has been thawed, do not re-freeze.
