Donor Story: Kelly

Donor Story Kelly

Kelly’s baby needed to go to NICU after birth.  She found it comforting to know donor milk was available if needed. As her milk supply increased, she soon had extra milk to freeze.  So, after finding out from her pediatrician that she could donate milk to a HMBANA milk bank, Kelly went through the screening process and became a donor.  On Thanksgiving Day, Kelly drove from Cloquet to drop off her extra milk at North Memorial before her own family’s Thanksgiving gathering. Thank you, Kelly for graciously donating your milk for other infants to grow strong and healthy.
