My husband and his brother were both born very premature (31 and 27 weeks respectively), so prematurity and NICU stays were on my radar long before I had my babies. Between my two kids, I am proud to have donated nearly 1000 ounces of milk to banks in CA and MN. I am glad to know that I was able to help babies and families, especially since preemie/NICU babies have a special place in our family’s heart!
